Let me share with you one of my favorite places in Japan - Harajuku, known as the fashion capital of Tokyo. If you're up for some shopping, food trip, or a leisure walk in the park, Harajuku has it all for you. I have rounded up 10 things you can do here for a day, in case you want to explore the kawaii culture of Tokyo.
1. Stroll down Takeshita Street
If you don't mind a little crowd, then head to Takeshita street and explore the many fashion boutiques, cafes, clothing shops, restaurants, and many more.
2. Eat Crepe
You will find many crepe stands in Takeshita, so go ahead and try one for yourself. It is the ultimate snack to have while you are there!

3. Try Purikura with your friends
See how you look like if you had big eyes and pink pouty lips. With just 400 yen (P200) you and your friends can take home fun and cute photos of all of you looking like anime characters.

4. Shop at the biggest Daiso in Japan
If buying ~kawaii~ items for just 100yen is in your to-do list, then drop by Daiso in Takeshita, the biggest Daiso there is in Japan!

5. Shop for fashionable clothes and accessories
There is a reason why Harajuku is known as the fashion capital in Tokyo. This is where the japanese teenagers get inspiration for their creative, bold, and colorful fashion sense. So shop 'til you drop!

6. Visit an animal cafe
You can also find cute animal shops here - cat cafes, owl cafes, and even hedgehog cafes! I am apparently a cat-lover, so paying a visit to a cat cafe was definitely a must in our agenda that day.

7. Eat fluffy pancakes
Japan is known for their fluffy and cloudy pancakes. It would be a shame not to try one during your trip, I mean, look at that fluff <3

8. Try Luke's Lobster
If you want something savory, then I suggest you grab some lobster rolls. I promise they are so worth it (especially if you're a seafood lover like me!).
9. Stroll around Yoyogi Park
After a day full of shopping and munching, a perfect place to wind down is Yoyogi Park. Have a picnic with your friends and family with a beautiful view of the pond and the cherry blossom trees during spring or autumn foliage during fall.
